As an affiliate of Community LIFT , River City Capital has existed since 2010 as a TN 501c3 nonprofit CDFI (Community Development Financial Institution) with a dedicated mission to accelerate shared prosperity and revitalization in underserved communities through the provision of capital in Memphis and Shelby County.

We provide programming and platforms that enhance both readiness for and access to capital up to $250,000 for emerging market entrepreneurs in low to moderate income communities of Memphis, TN.

We go beyond just simply being another lender but a driver of economic development by connecting entrepreneurs and business owners to dedicated business and educational resources that result in sustained, viable commercial corridors with job creation, reduced blight, and longer dollar circulation.
