Northern Shores Community Development, Inc. is a new nonprofit corporation established to assist entrepreneurs of Northern Michigan with education, training, business incubation and access to capital that fosters economic development for the Northern Michigan community. We offer a variety of loan products including micro-loans and larger small business loans.

Northern Shores Community Development, Inc. is an emerging Community Development Financial Institution (CDFI) providing loans to those businesses that have found it difficult to meet conventional lending institution requirements. CDFI’s bridge the gap between the economic mainstream and economically disadvantaged people and communities.
